| At the Florida Air National Guard
(FANG), the Family Readiness (FR) office exists to serve Guard members
and their loved ones. FR staff and volunteers offer services that
help to keep families informed, connected, and confident during military
separations.
Further, FR assists in creating events through which families
can meet and network. These activities increase family knowledge
of the mission, the family members’ duties, the military
way of life, and the benefits of military service.
Please use our office and this website to take advantage of
the following services:
- Family Readiness Plan: Provides
4 simple steps to Total Readiness.
- Readiness
Contact information: provides important phone
numbers for military services located nearest you.
- Helping Agency
Referral: a list of local and digital organizations
that provide guidance, as well as crisis intervention services.
- Operation F.I.T. (Families
in Touch): offers unit Family Telephone Rosters
- Family Readiness Briefings: Based on a “town meeting
concept, this is your chance to learn, first hand, more about
issues that might affect you during military separations.
We’re always looking for ways to improve. If you would like
to be a part of enhancing our family network, please email us at: family.readiness@fljack.ang.af.mil
